PGL Fundraising 2010

Sponsored Walk - a sponsored walk was undertaken by Bro Dave Tierney, ROH and family, with support from the PGP, Bro Dave Wheatley, ROH and his wife. Together with sponsorship from the members and family of the Province a 'Just Giving' web-page was created which raised £295 from supporters. Read the report on the Walk in Winnux, Issue 26 - the Winter edition - to be published soon. Presentations for the walk will be made at the Xmas Social.

LJMC Fun Run - on 26th September the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre held their annual Fun Run at Merchant Taylor School, Moor Park. The PGP, Bro Dave Wheatley and his wife, together with Bro Kev Keogh and his wife manned a stall selling 'hand-made' cards and bric-a-brac in aid of the Outside Charity. The cards are hand-made by Jean Wheatley and have been on sale in the Province throughout the year, proceeds from those sales and the stall are being donated to the Outside Charity at a presentation at the Xmas Social.

Fund Raising Quiz- Solve the cryptic clues to find the 50 London Underground  Stations, and help us to raise much needed funds for Bro Dave Wheatley’s PGP’s appeal for 2010.
