The Winnux Magazine
Friendly and fraternal greetings to one and all, welcome to the WINNUX page; for the benefit of first time visitors to the site, WINNUX (an abbreviation for WINdsor N UXbridge) is our Province magazine which is intended to both enlighten and entertain.
Many of the items that we feature have been sent to us by our readers - who offer us their opinions - which you may or may not agree with; we at WINNUX encourage this because we would like your input as well.
So dear reader, as you peruse our pages, please feel free to praise or complain - as long as you get your point across, we will feel that our aims have been met.
Those aims are that we want to bring Provinces closer together through our pages, the very splendid Buffalo Quarterly Journal does this in a Strict Order fashion and does it extremely well - WINNUX, however, is more Liberty Hall in it’s approach; so, if you have something to say, on any subject whatsoever, please get in touch, and, as long as it is non political, not racially biased and is in family acceptable language, we will endeavour to print your words verbatim.
Because of our promise, we must underline that the editor & staff of Winnux Magazine, and the members of “The Windsor & Uxbridge Provincial Grand Lodge”, will not be held responsible for the authenticity or correctness of items featured, they are simply the views of the author.
Please feel free to peruse our back catalogue while you are here (as it goes back to Spring 2008) and raise whatever comments that you feel appropriate.
All articles for submission should be in the hands of the Editor by the following deadlines:
15th January, publication date – February
15th April, publication date – May
15th July, publication date – August
15th October, publication date – November
All photographs for inclusion should be in JPEG format, 96-150dpi.
Articles should be approx. 2,500 words (if no photographs included), or, 1,500 words (with inclusion of 1 or 2 photographs); any article of longer than 2,500 words will be considered for serialisation.
